Yeah.
My body is falling apart on me. Still having 1-2 dizzy episodes daily....I'm taking Meclizine to make them less severe. Too bad it also makes me practically narcoleptic.
The IV that was put in en route to the hospital somehow managed to get infected.....my left arm is swollen from elbow to fingertips and hurts like HELL. Nothing makes it stop hurting except holding it over my head. Ever see the demented-looking secretary who held her arm in the air? Yep that is me. Doctor still doesn't seem all that concerned, which concerns me. Infections spread quickly through the body....of course she gave me Keflex which might as well come with a side of Monistat (you know what I mean girls). My body is screaming "GET SOME PAIN MEDS STUPID!!!" but I'm not going down THAT road again. If I still drank, well at least it would kill the pain right? This "healthy" road is pretty rocky so far.
Oh, and in the rush to finish a design project that was needed in DECEMBER, I forgot to take my Requip. 3 am brought me thrashing around like a fish out of water. Am exhausted today but I bet I will be wide awake at midnight.
My bedside table looks like a geriatric's medicine cabinet.....seriously:
- Effexor XR - taken for severe anxiety
- Meclizine - we already covered that
- Elavil - taken for PM nerve pain in my throat
- Klonopin - same as above (only taken when throat pain is unbearable and I can't sleep....otherwise it gives me a major daytime hangover)...if you knew the irony of that drug you would laugh
- Lunesta - for insomnia nights....like Klonopin, I only take it when I absolutely cannot sleep as it gives me a hangover
- Requip - taken for RLS
- Keflex - now for infection in arm
- Skelaxin - taken occasionally for lower back (injury from car accident last July)
- Mobic - same as above
Now doesn't that sound depressing......*sigh*

It sounds AWFUL and I truly hope you feel better soon.
Too many meds....get a second opinion...you cannot feel good on all of that ! {V}
Scary number of meds ... and they're sure none of those have bad interactions? At least you still have your sense of humor ... side of Monistat ... you cracked me up.
ask your doctor for some diflucan...its a pill you take once that rids your body of a yeast infection incase you get one...i always demand one of those when i do a round of antibiotics.
im sorry youre having so many issues right now...when it rains it pours, eh? *hugs*
Sounds like you are having a really hard time of it. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way. I stopped by from the Weekly Photo Challenge to tell you I looked at the photo you put up of your daughter and she is lovely. I can tell you are very proud of her and the photo was terrific. Hang in there and get better.
